This past year has been very busy with Work Team trips to Latin America.  In January and February,  The Prairie Partners Work Team from South Dakota traveled to the Dominican Republic.  Local workers from WMA Missions assisted them in putting a roof on a deaf school in La Vega.  In additional to other projects, they also were able to paint the home of Missionaries Ivan and Claire.  (See the Rosalia page under projects.)  A Work Team from the Newton Falls, Ohio Church of God, led by Associate Director, Ron Baker and Pastor Arnold Edmonson traveled to the Dominican Republic in April.  They were able to paint and repair Dominican Pastors, Ramon and Denise's home.  In June, a Work Team from the South Memorial Drive Church of God in New Castle, IN., led by Director Jim Nipp traveled to the Dominican Republic.  The group of 17, joined with the local pastors to conduct several VBS projects for the children, have a sewing ministry, a medical, First Aid ministry and work on construction projects.   In July,  Director Jim Nipp and his wife Mary traveled to Mexico to join with Vision Ministries under the direction of Jim Walters.    Associate Director Ron Baker currently has a team working in Haiti. Many churches, clubs, businesses and organizations are currently preparing of Love Gift Packets for children and preparing Health and hygiene packets to give to needy families.

Pharmacies have donated much medicines and first aid supplies.  The list goes on and on because there are many caring people who want to share with others in need.

Many of you from around the country have made generous donations both in monetary gifts and items needed for missions.  We currently have a complete dental clinic that will be shipped to La Buena Tierra at the Church of God mission in Saltillo, Mexico.
